Heading to Arm Balances and Inversions: This workshop will focus on preparing and warming the body to bear weight on the hands and arms while working toward incorporating safe, solid arm balances and inversions into your yoga practice. Wrist and forearm stretches and strengthening exercises will be covered, followed by shoulder and core strengthening postures and movements. We will outline in detail the core muscles that are needed to safely transition into inversions and practice creative ways to build strength in these areas.
