INTRODUCTION TO ASHTANGA PRIMARY SERIES ON MONDAYS FROM 6:30-8:00 PM
Mary started practicing yoga in 2004. One of her favorite things to do is practice yoga in nature, which has helped her find peace and stillness of the mind. She received her 200-hour teacher training in April 2013 at Balance Yoga and Wellness School. During her yoga teacher training she was exposed to Ashtanga yoga by Steve Kirk, who showed her true focus in her practice. After that, her passion for Ashtanga yoga bloomed. She started following the guidance of Steve Kirk, David Swenson, and Andrew Eppler, whom she was lucky enough to study asana, mudra, pranayama and philosophy under in 2014. She was also introduced to acroyoga in 2013, and her main teachers are Chelsey and Jason Magness. Mary has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2011 and also practices Vipassana Meditation daily. Mary's passion is helping heal humanity one person at a time, by teaching individuals to heal themselves.
