“Satsang” is a Sanskrit word meaning “gathering of seekers of the Truth.” Here at the Arkansas Yoga Collective, we welcome you to attend Satsang on the first Friday of every month (6:30pm – 8:30pm) where we come together with like-minded friends from our community, share stories, satisfy our appetites, participate in Kirtan (devotional chanting), and listen to guest presenters speak on a topic related to spiritual growth. Often times we also enjoy a musical or other cultural offering of dance, skits, poetry or story-telling; all spiritually inspirational. Satsang concludes with a brief relaxing/cleansing mediation & ceremonial Aarti (Offering of Light).
This weekly fellowship offers the chance for new visitors and long-time yogi’s throughout the surrounding areas and globe to share spiritual ideas and camaraderie. There is no charge for this event! We hope you make plans to join us. Let’s have some fun!!!
Food: Star of India will be providing some amazing dishes. Also, please feel free to bring fruit/veggies/or your favorite desserts.
